Apart from birds, the park also houses several other species of wildlife, including mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. Some of the notable mammals that can be spotted in the park are the Sambar Deer, Spotted Deer, Blackbuck, Wild Boar, and the Indian Hare. Reptiles such as the Indian Python, Cobra, and the Common Monitor Lizard are also found here.

Nubra Valley

Nubra Valley is an incredibly beautiful part of India in the northernmost part of Jammu and Kashmir. Here you can enjoy breathtaking landscapes, orchards and Bactrian camels. Nubra Valley is around 150km from Lee nestled between Tibet and Kashmir, which means that it is surrounded by Himalayan mountains. The Tibetan name for the region translates to “valley of flowers” and it is famous for its colourful flowers and shrub forest.

It is a great place for biking enthusiasts as you can explore the valley, but remember that you need a tourist permit by both international and domestic when visiting Ladakh. Additionally, it is advised that elderly visitors carry an oxygen cylinder as the Valley is high above sea level.
